April went by far too quickly for my liking!
Ideally, I would have been able to actually remember more than like, three memorable things I did in a month, but whatever.
There were lots of things going on, some I can’t talk about, some good, some horrible. There were definitely some moments where I wasn’t my best self.
But hopefully, looking ahead, I can be in a better state of mind!
Readings Of The Month
I read many books this month, so let’s see how I liked them!
Flawless
Pretty Little Liars is basically my guilty pleasure. It seems like something I would never want to read, but it’s so well written and addicting??? So I got the second book, and I finished the third book yesterday…
The Girl Who Drank The Moon
Quite Honestly, I was expecting more from this because of the title. Yet it was very underwhelming!!
The Fault In Our Stars
I came to the conclusion that I was one of the microscopic percentage of teenage girls who hasn’t read this book, so I gave it a shot, and what do ya’ know? It wasn’t too bad!! I also saw the movie and swooned the whole time, yet I didn’t cry which was strange?
This Song Will Save Your Life
👏 THIS👏 BOOK👏 WAS👏 EVERYTHING👏
This is possibly one of the greatest reads of 2018 so far, I love it with all my heart👏 and👏 soul👏
Paper Towns
Since I was on the John Green train, I decided to give Paper Towns a chance. The beginning was breath taking, but the rest was sooooo slooooow.
Rules Of Rain
It’s beyond me why I included it in my April stack since I read it in early march… still, great book, 100%.
Favorite Book?
This Song Will Save Your Life SLAYED my life. Filled me with so many emotions of happiness and relatable-ness??
Least Favorite?
Paper Towns takes the cake. Or maybe it’s too slow to even reach the cake.
Bloggings Of The Month
I am an excuse of a blogger, because last time I checked Bloggers posted more than twice a month??
Besides that, it was wonderful because I redesigned the blog, and my post I PRACTICED ALL THE FORMS OF SELF CARE FOR A WEEK did incredibly well which made me really happy and warm and fuzzy inside. ❤
All is well in the blogiverse.
General Life!
I’ve been gushing over the Delicate Music Video for over a month in a half. When I’m 90, you’ll find me hunched over a computer screen watching Taylor dancing in that fringe dress for the 2335887880th time.
I also made myself this Reputation Tour jacket because I SEE TAYLOR IN 6 DAYS WHAT IS LIFE??? I made most of the patches and some are from her merch shop, and I’ve added more, but next week I’ll have a post showing you all my sign and costume and erry’thing.
I also made myself a You Belong with Me T Shirt for the concert? The old Taylor is quaking.
I couldn’t possibly leave out a collage of Twila? Because what other collage would there ever be?
I went to Great America for Band. We won first place! Basically we drove two hours, played instruments for twenty minutes, and then rode roller coasters for six hours more.
The highlight of the day was obviously my churro ice cream cone.
We made a rest stop on the way there to this place called Casa De Fruita. There was this Peacock, and people were taking pictures in front of it, but right as the pictures were about to be taken, the peacock squawked really loudly and they all ran away screaming. On the way back, my friends and I went to the swing set in the dark and we’re 100% sure that it’s haunted.
I got really cute washi tape and pens, which is obviously a highlight because stationary is everything to me.
I learned calligraphy in three hours! Tutorial coming soon. 😉
Time For A Bullet Journal Update!
I decided on a tropical theme for this month because I’m feelin’ summery! The cover page is composed of stickers in a circle, with “may” in the middle, because (shocker) it is now May.
On the next page, I made a simple calendar layout for a monthly overview, but it’s horizontal because that’s the only way I could make it fit on one page…
Here is a one line a day spread, pretty simple, I just need to add numbers!
A page for various lists, because I make far too many.
Two pages for what will be the best night of my life.
A post planning spread with washi tape and stickers!
And last week’s weekly spread!
That’s all for April! Is it the last month of school for you? What are you doing this summer? Do ya’ like jazz roller coasters? What’s your favorite vine please tell me so we can discuss. XD
Firstly:
*swoons* YOUR BUJO. HOW IS IT PRETTY AND USEFUL. everything i make is either pretty or useful not both HOW.
Secondly:
CONCERT RECAP PLZ. I’m not really into Tswizzle but you’ve made me excited for you 😀 I love your concert jacket 8) especially the way you made your own patches – that is too cool.
Thirdly:
don’t make me choose a favorite vine but i really like the take on me jogging guy. or the guy who slides down the ramp and says “good eefning” so classily. Yeah.
Fourthly:
You’re doing so well actually posting on your blog….maybe I should do that too XD
Fifthly:
YOU KEEP DOING SAM STUFF BECAUSE YOU’RE AWESOME. LOVE YOU GIRL.
