Well, technically, it’s not really Christmas yet.  In 15 days though!  One thing that I always feel the need to decorate is my…

• bed
• walls
• cat (she looks good in a Santa hat though I don’t think she enjoys it)
• will to live
• yes you can decorate your will to live

My bookshelf is actually my will to live so like I said, I totally decorate it!

Yeah, spending HOURS folding over books and hanging banners and command hooks is definitely not a waste of my time.  noooo possible way.

jk.  It was probabaly a waste of time, but whatever!  I did it for the aesthetic.

Done?  Ok good!

So this is my entire shelf.  I made little Christmas trees out of all my books!!

Which is kind of ironic because all these books CAME from the trees. So all I did was turn them back into what they once were.  That sounded like a tumblr quote.

Anyways, this is my bookshelf.  *cue angelic choirs in the background*

It is four wood planks but those wood planks hold so much magic.  How can wood planks hold so much wonder?  omg I feel so annoying I need to stop saying wood planks

I actually plan to populate my lil’ baby shelf very soon, and make it even more gorgeous and fabulous, but I have to wait 15 days until Christmas for Barne’s And Noble Gift Cards.  Woe is me.

K, so here is the bottom shelf

And… there is no books.  I’m sorry to disappoint.

But there are knick knacks!

And tiny trees!

And even a little mini Santa figurine!

Ok then!

Here is the second shelf.  I have ribbon lining it, and I just transformed my little precious books into trees.

I know!  You’re probably screaming through your electronic device, “YOU SIR ARE MOST DEFINITELY GOING TO RUIN THOSE BOOKS!”

well guess what they were already creased anyways in their spines.  They probably have scoliosis now.  So good day to you Sir!

That was my book shelf tour.  I decked the bookshelf.  I decked it out all the way.  READING ALL THEY WAYYY!

I’m at the point in December where I just want to overdose on Candy Canes, get driven insane by the sound of jingle bells, and bathe in hot chocolate.
